WORTHY IS THE CREATOR
Text: Revelation 4:11 (NIV):
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."
INTRODUCTION — STORY 1: THE KING AND THE EMPTY HANDS
A king once invited his people to bring him a gift. Some brought gold. Some brought jewels. Some brought rare treasures. But one old woman came with empty hands. She bowed and said, “My king, I have nothing worthy to give you.”
The king lifted her up and said,
“Your empty hands honor me more than their full baskets, because you came with your heart.”
Children of God, Revelation 4 is heaven coming before God with full hearts—even if their hands are empty. And the cry of heaven is:
“You are worthy, O Lord…”
Let’s step into that throne room.
🔥 1. “YOU ARE WORTHY, O LORD” — STORY 2: THE DIAMOND IN THE DIRT
John is taken into heaven. He doesn’t hear complaints. He doesn’t hear fear. He hears worship.
To understand this, imagine a diamond dropped in the mud.
It’s dirty, but it’s still a diamond.
Its value doesn’t change because of where it fell.
Children of the Most High God, God’s worth doesn’t change because of where you are.
He is worthy in the valley.
He is worthy on the mountain.
He is worthy in the storm.
He is worthy in the sunshine.
🌟 Revival punch:
Heaven never stops declaring His worth—so why should we?
🔥 2. “TO RECEIVE GLORY AND HONOR AND POWER” — STORY 3: THE BLANK PAGE
A man once told his pastor, “I want God to change my life.”
The pastor handed him a blank sheet of paper and said,
“Sign your name at the bottom.”
The man asked, “What am I signing?”
The pastor replied,
“You’re giving God permission to write His will over yours.”
The man hesitated.
He wanted God’s blessing, but not God’s authority.
This is where many believers get stuck.
We want God’s glory, but not His honor.
We want God’s power, but not His rule.
🍁Revival punch:
Worship is not just singing—it is surrender.
It is signing your name at the bottom of a blank page and saying,
“Lord, write Your will into my life.”
🔥 3. “FOR YOU CREATED ALL THINGS” — STORY 4: THE MASTER ARTIST
A young boy visited an art museum with his father. He saw a painting so beautiful that he whispered, “Daddy, who made this?”
The father said, “A great artist.”
The boy replied, “Then the artist must be greater than the painting.”
People of God, creation is beautiful—but the Creator is greater.
The mountains are beautiful—but the Maker is greater.
The oceans are powerful—but the One who spoke them into existence is greater.
And you—yes, you—are His artwork.
✝️ Revival punch:
You are not random.
You are not a mistake.
You are the intentional creation of a worthy God.
🔥 4. “BY YOUR WILL THEY EXIST AND WERE CREATED” — STORY 5: THE CHILD WHO LIVED
A mother once told her son,
“You were not supposed to live. The doctors said you wouldn’t make it. But God said otherwise.”
That child grew up to preach the gospel.
Citizens of different nations, you are alive because God said,
“Live.”
You are breathing because God said,
“Stay.”
You are standing because God said,
“Rise.”
⏳ Revival punch:
If God willed you into existence,
no devil can cancel you.
No storm can erase you.
No failure can define you.
You are here because God wants you here.
🔥 CONCLUSION — STORY 6: THE MIRROR AND THE SUN
A mirror has no light of its own.
It only shines when it faces the sun.
Children of God, you shine when you face the One who is worthy.
Turn your life toward Him.
Turn your heart toward Him.
Turn your worship toward Him.
Let the cry of heaven become the cry of your soul:
“You are worthy, O Lord!”
“You are worthy of my life!”
“You are worthy forever!”
